Q: I can't remember my password and/or user ID. What can I do?
A: If you've forgotten your user ID, go to the CME Center, click on Retrieve Your Password link in the Professional Login box. Next, type the e-mail address you used when you registered, then click Submit. You will receive an email from editor@dannemiller.com containing your ID and password. (It's important to keep your e-mail address current. If your e-mail address changes at any time after you register, be sure to update it by clicking on Update Profile.)

Q: How do I change my password and user ID?
A: Click Here to update your profile. You must login before you make any changes!

Q: I am having problems logging into the site. What can I do?
A: Make sure you are using the correct user ID and password, use an updated browser and see the above questions for details.

Keep your "cache directory" clean. Your Internet browser "remembers" where you've been by storing files in a temporary folder called the cache directory. If this folder isn't emptied periodically, it can interfere with your ability to log in. Here's how to empty the folder:

On the PC:
  • Under Tools, choose Internet Options
  • In the center of the window, under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button.
  • Under Explorer, choose Preferences.
  • Choose Advanced on the left side of the window.
  • Click the Empty Now button under Cache.
Turn off your popup prevention software. Software intended to prevent popup ads may keep you from logging into our site. If you have popup prevention software, please disable it before logging in.

Q: Are your CME activities accredited?
A: Yes. Each activity will list the accreditations and credits allowed for that activity at the beginning of the CME activity.

Q: How do I get my certificates?
A: After answering all the test questions and hitting the Submit button, you will be taken to an evaluation. You must complete this evaluation and hit Submit to display your certificate. After the evaluation is completed and submitted, your certificate will pop up allowing you to print the certificate or send it to you via e-mail. To make sure you receive your certificate e-mails, remember to keep your e-mail address up to date on the Update Profile page.

Q: How can I keep track of all the course I've completed?
A: Pain.com keeps a transcript of all the tests you've completed. To see or print the transcript, log into the site, and click on Transcripts.
